I'm beginning to think we should start our own veg box scheme with our (too) abundant crop of cauliflowers, cabbages, and courgettes.
We could even continue what seems to be a penchant for the letter 'c' by calling our scheme Collins & Collins...though I don't think it has quite the same ring as Abel & Cole!
Where do I sign up?
ReplyDeleteOur tub trugs are yellow and usually full of unmentionables.
Well done Collins & Collins! You've started something, we're on our third cauliflower cheese since your post featuring it. Best of luck with your future harvest! D x
ReplyDeleteOh I don't know I think Collins & Collins sounds grand.
ReplyDeleteMost impressive, Collins & Collins! Do you deliver?
ReplyDeleteCan I put in an order with Collins & Collins?
ReplyDeleteWhat, no slugs? Doesn't seem quite right to me..... I'll still be on your mailing list though.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even bother to try growing caulis this year, as I'm so bad at them, but I often make Sarah Raven's cauliflower & almond soup - if you haven't tried it, do, as it's wonderful.
I thinkt that Collins and Collins sounds slightly Dickensian - you could do your own version of Bleak House with added cauliflowers.
ReplyDeleteSounds very civilized. I picture the owners (y'all, that is) sitting in leather chairs and taking sips of brandy. And saying, "I say..." a lot.
ReplyDeleteCauliflower cheese - my favorite and my best!
