fruit and flowers

While the fruit and flowers at Petersham are looking lovely as always...

I must admit I'm more excited about the blossoms in our orchard:

Fingers crossed for a fine crop of cooking apples this autumn.

  1. Hi Kristina,
I've missed a few of your posts by being away. I am so jealous of your allotment cafe - what a fab idea. We have a kitchen shed as well as a separate tool shed at ours but only for our plot. Your blossom looks like you should have a good crop of apples this year. My asparagus isn't quite ready yet - just another week or 2 to go. Happy digging!

  2. I'm sending you good apple wishes!

  3. Oh, I would love to have an apple tree!

  4. That's what I love about you serious produce growers - your ability to forward plan!

  5. I love the smell of Appleblossom , especially just after a rainshower when the air is clear and fresh!

  6. Just gorgeous Kristina! I laugh at how you can make me pucker from so many miles away with your lovely lemon photos. :)

  7. I think that you should start practicing as soon as possible. Apple crumble and custard ... mmmm

  8. Hello lovely,

Gorgeous pictures - you are indeed a woman of many talents!

Hope to see you soon, preferably over a cuppa & a lump of cake!

    Big love
