capitol celebration

Heading home bright and early Thursday morning, and this time I'll be staying right through the Fourth:

I'm so looking forward to all the festivities: barbecues and balloons,

sparklers and fireworks. Better stop puzzling and start packing!

    Did I tell you that my brother is moving to D.C. this summer? He is having trouble finding housing . . . please blow some good luck his way.

    Enjoy your 4th; we may celebrate, but only if the sunny weather holds. It is properly HOT this week . . . can you believe it? I'm off to see the roses at Regents Park tomorrow. xx
